Joanna supports CoRe’s overall program implementation including communication, recruitment, budget and finance, and progress monitoring. She is a young development professional with more than seven years experience in both research and program management. She brings skills in qualitative research methodologies, gained from a combination of academic studies and previous work as a research consultant, including work addressing children’s welfare. Additionally, Anna has a strong understanding of development work, having worked with projects on gender, human rights, leadership, co-creation, global value chains, and citizen engagement. Her program management experience includes events organization, budget preparation and monitoring, partner management, and office coordination. Anna holds a BA in Behavioral Sciences from the University of the Philippines Manila, and currently she is pursuing her MA in Anthropology in the University of the Philippines Diliman. In her free time, Anna loves to travel, listen to music, and read. She feels strongly about issues of children and youth, human rights, and public health.
