Collaborating
for Resilience

Inclusive environmental governance for
resilient livelihoods and ecosystems

Vision

Communities and societies navigate the ecological and climate crises in ways that sustain and restore critical ecosystem services, support resilient livelihoods and well-being, build vibrant and equitable regional economies, and reduce the risks of social conflict.

Mission

Advance multi-stakeholder processes and governance innovations for equitable and sustainable resource use.

What We Do

We design and enable collaborative initiatives for transformation.

CoRe works with partners to design and implement multi-stakeholder systems change and policy transformation initiatives that are grounded in community priorities, experience, and expertise.

We influence policies and
investments at scale.

CoRe’s grounded research and evaluation expertise and commitment to developing robust policy evidence helps us shape narratives, make policy- practice linkages, and drive action by key decision makers across scales.

We strengthen networks for
learning and exchange.

CoRe nurtures communities of practice to exchange lessons within and across countries and to distill evidence on the effectiveness of collaborative environmental governance.

Collaborating for Resilience provides resources, analysis, and support for practitioners, researchers, development agencies and policy stakeholers working to address this challenge.
